Volunteer Application and Background Screening Process

Four Easy Steps 

Once you have an assigned volunteer position, begin your volunteer application and background screening process with these four easy steps.

Step 1:  Complete Volunteer Application  now.

Step 2:  Complete Intellicorp Background Screening  now.

Step 3: Register as a member of Girl Scouts of the USA

Step 4:  Give Approval letter to Volunteer Supervisor.

Once Girl Scouts of Gateway Council receives your volunteer application and favorable background screening results, an approval letter will be sent to you via email within five business days, unless additional screening is required. It is your responsibility to print and give a copy to your volunteer supervisor (i.e. troop leader, coach, service unit manager, or council staff member).
