Netiquette Etiquette - C
Grades: 6, 7, 8

Our digital world makes it easy to stay in touch and share friendships, memories, and ideas. But we've all heard embarrassing stories in which people wish they'd never hit the "send" button. Once you've put it out there, it never goes away. But you can use that to your benefit, too. This workshop is all about knowing how to make positive choices in the online world. You will explore “oops” and “wow” moments, look at e-mail, commenting, and blogging, decide what makes a great social media profile, and help spread better practices online.

* Netiquette Badge included at the conclusion of the program for every registered Girl Scout girl.
* This event is for 2017 registered Girl Scouts, and registered & approved adult volunteers. If an adult is responsible for a Girl Scout other than their own, the adult must be registered and background checked.
* For safety and supervision reasons, troops and individuals are not permitted to bring non- Girl Scouts or siblings.
* Girl/adult ratios must be followed unless otherwise indicated in the program description. Adults are expected to stay on the premises.
