OTEX - Brave Explorer - Adult
Outdoor Training Extravaganza — OTEX — is an annual weekend with the mission of all participants receiving training in a multitude of specific outdoor skills. Participants will grow in knowledge, skill and self-confidence to enhance their girls outdoor experiences.
Be brave in the outdoors! Are you a Girl Scout volunteer who wants to keep your girls safe while spending time in the great outdoors?
The Brave Explorer Certification Package allows participants the opportunity for multiple certifications, including Level 1 USA Archery certification, American Red Cross Basic Water Rescue and First Aid /CPR/AED. The three certifications will allow you to meet the Safety Activity Checkpoints requirements in several areas: archery, fishing, swimming, adventures and theme parks, backpacking and more.
