Girl Scout Birthday Party - All GS and Family
Did you know that 106 years ago on March 12 Juliette Gordon Low officially registered Girl Scouts' first 18 members in Savannah, Ga.? Whether you have been a Girl Scout for years or just a few months come hang out with us during Girl Scout Week for a special birthday party celebration at the Gateway Service Center! Join staff, Girl Scouts, family, friends for a fun filled evening- make a birthday swap, enjoy a Girl Scout cookie popcorn bar and cupcakes, smile with your friends or favorite staff member in the photo booth, participate if some fun birthday activities and games and take home a fun patch!
The fun doesn’t end there, we will also have vintage uniforms for girls to try on, and you can take a sneak peek at the council museum, explore the office full of cool things to see and do, learn more about the happenings, enter to win cool prizes and take advantage of special birthday party only discounts at the store and camp. That is right, all guests will receive 12% at the store and $12 off their camp registration. You won’t want to miss this!
In the Girl Scout spirit, we will also be collecting supplies to create a Birthday Party in a Bag. We want others to have the opportunity celebrate and enjoy as well! We ask party guests to bring something related to a birthday party — cake mix, icing, candles, plates, utensils, decorations. During the party, we’ll use these supplies to create kits to distribute within our community. Girl Scouts also have the opportunity to make birthday cards to contribute to the bags.
This is an open house-style party so feel free to drop in between 5-7 p.m. but please register so we know how many people to expect!
* A fun patch is included for every registered Girl Scout girl.
