Women Who Make a Difference

On May 16, 2014, over 360 guests celebrated the lives of five distinguished women at the 20th annual Women Who Make a Difference luncheon. The common thread woven throughout each presentation was the importance for today’s girls to learn the leadership skills that will serve them well in the future. The event, chaired by past honorees Penny Jones and Portia Taylor, honored:

Rose Fagler, Manager, Plum Creek Community Relations

Jeanne Marie Singer, Chief Assistant State Attorney

Dawn Burgess-Krop, MED MHC, Partner and Therapist, Community Behavioral Services

Jackie Paris, Owner/Operator – McDonald’s of Gainesville

Phoebe Cade Miles, President and CEO of the Cade Museum for Creativity & Innovation

We owe a special thank you to all of our sponsors, guests and honorees for helping us raise over $60,000. Congratulations, everyone – it’s for the girls!
