Girl Scouts of the USA has compiled a list of universities/colleges, foundations, and Girl Scout councils that offer scholarships, awards, and grants to Girl Scouts. Girl Scout experiences enhance ANY scholarship application with leadership and community service, so remember to include your Girl Scout activities in ALL scholarship applications you submit.
Here are a couple of scholarship opportunities to universities in or near Gateway Council:
Frank Spain Scholarship
Presented by Gainesville Kiwanis Club
Awarded to a graduating senior who is a Girl Scout from Gateway Council residing in an area serviced by the Gainesville Service Center and will attend the University of Florida and earned the Gold Award. The Spain Scholarship Application is due by June 1, annually. The address for submission may change, please contact the Gainesville Service Center for current details.

Girl Scout Gold Award Scholarship
Requirements: Girl Scout Gold Award recipient (and all requested documentation), and at least a 3.5 average in high school.

Alcoa Chuck McLane Scholarship
GSUSA will be offering two $10,000 Alcoa Chuck McLane Scholarships. Applicants must be 2013 graduates and attending an accredited College or University in the fall, as well as a Gold Award recipient with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related project. Each Council is allowed two recommendations for this scholarship. A recommendation does not guarantee a scholarship.
