Open A Troop Bank Account

Troops with $100, or in advance of participating in the cookie sale, will need to open a troop bank account.

A minimum of two adults should be signers on the troop account. The account should be opened using the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council EIN number provided on the Bank Authorization Form.

Once your account is established, submit the Troop Bank Account Information Form. This information is required to process financial assistance, refunds or product sale overpayments. These are sent to your account electronically.

Girl Scouts of Gateway Council offers the following list of preferred banks, all of which have agreed to assist troops and the council in maintaining accounts according to our policies and procedures, found in Volunteer Essentials:

   Ameris Bank

   Atlantic Coast Bank

   Capital City Bank

   First Atlantic Bank

   Sun Trust Bank

   Synovus
