Product Sales Activities

An Investment in a Girl’s Future

Girl Scout product sale activities are more than “just another sale.” Girls gain life skills such as leadership, goal setting, money management, math, decision making, teamwork, and responsibility. Each year Girl Scouts of Gateway Council holds two product sale activities, the Fall Product Sale and Girl Scout Cookie Sale.  Participation in these activities help Girl Scouts earn money for troop activities, special events and projects, field trips and support for the Girl Scout program, including:

• Leadership development, career exploration and outdoor education with minimum fees
• Improve and maintain camps, little houses and service centers
• Financial assistance
• Outreach to low-income and developmentally disadvantaged girls
• Volunteer recruitment and training

Participation in Girl Scout product sale activities is voluntary.
