Girl Scouts earning their Silver Award

Silver Award Girl Scouts

When Girl Scout Cadettes focus on an issue they care about, learn the facts, and take action to make a difference, they gain the confidence and skills that will catapult them to lifelong success. It all adds up to the Girl Scout Silver Award—the highest honor a Cadette can achieve.  Download the Silver Award guidelines to find out how.

Highest Award update: Deadline extended

Gold, Silver, and Bronze Award Girl Scouts are the leaders our communities need to create solutions to the new and ever-changing challenges that arise from this global pandemic.

To support these leaders, we’re offering a special deadline extension for Highest Award projects to Dec. 31, 2020.

We want to give Girl Scouts in Gateway Council adequate time to harness their creativity and innovation to brainstorm digital solutions to meet these community needs.

You can pursue your Girl Scout Silver Award if:

You're in sixth, seventh, or eighth grade (or equivalent)

You're a registered Girl Scout Cadette

You have completed a Cadette Journey
