Customer Care & Volunteer Support Specialist

Summary: The Customer Care and Volunteer Support Specialist serves as the first point of contact for inquiries via phone, email or in person. The Specialist is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to all members and customers, both external and internal. The Customer Care and Volunteer Support Specialist is responsible for Gateway Council girl and volunteer retention. This position requires staff to work outside of the office for one or more days a week on a routine basis and agreement to the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council Telecommuting Policy and Guidelines. This position requires a flexible schedule - includes evenings.

Donor Relations Manager - Tallahassee

Summary: Working under the direction of the Senior Director of Development, the Donor Relations Manager (DRM) plays a key and integral role in the success of Girl Scouts of Gateway Council’s (GSGC) fund development efforts, specifically through ongoing and proactive relationship management, strategic communications planning, gift cultivation and solicitation activity with an assigned caseload of qualified donors. In this role, the DRM will identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors acting as the primary contact between GSGC and the assigned caseload, with an emphasis on securing gifts of $5,000 and higher, increasing overall gifts to GSGC while retaining and strengthening existing giving.

Marketing and PR Coordinator - Tallahassee

Summary: The Marketing and PR Coordinator provides support to the Marketing and Communications Director for all areas of marketing, public relations, and external communications throughout Gateway Council. The coordinator's primary responsibility is communicate Girl Scouts' position as the preeminent leadership development organization for girls to media, parents, partners, and donors in the 35-county council area. The coordinator will manage day-to-day public relations for Gateway Council with emphasis on cultivating media relationships. In addition to PR, the coordinator will create engaging social media content (infographics, videos, etc.), as well as email newsletters and blog posts.

Product Sales Coordinator - Panhandle

Summary: Product Sales Coordinator is committed to assist with the Product Sales components for the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council. The position designs and monitors product sale materials for accuracy, processing and distribution in a timely manner. The position determines ways to streamline and improve processes and works cross-departmental, as well as with volunteers. The position supports girl and adult membership goals. She/he reports to the COO with considerable demand for independent judgment.

Senior HR Generalist - Jacksonville

Summary: The HR Generalist serves as a consultant to the organization and/or council leadership on human resource related issues. Acts as a balanced advocate and change agent for the employee and the company, promotes positive employee engagement and develops and executes programs to drive employee retention, performance and organization effectiveness. These professionals may also collaborate with others in assisting in resolving employee relations issues to include investigations, progressive discipline and termination procedures, as well as potential legal matters related to charges and/or law suits against the employer in partnership with legal counsel.
