You want your voice to be heard.  It is so important that one of your Leadership Journeys is about speaking up about and acting upon issues that are crucial in your world. To develop public policy, you have to know about the laws and government actions surrounding particular issues. To influence public policy, it’s important to know how a citizen can work to affect change in her community, her country and her world.  This citizenship Legacy Badge is just the opportunity.

There is some pre-work and some homework that is required to earn this Ambassador Public Policy Badge.

Girls will share a lunch the Pensacola Women League of Voters as well as the participating Senior level Girl Scouts.

*A Girl Scout Ambassador Citizenship Legacy Badge included at the conclusion of the program for every registered Girl Scout girl who completes the pre-work and the homework.                              * This event is for 2019 registered Girl Scouts, and registered & approved adult volunteers. If an adult is responsible for a Girl Scout other than their own, the adult must be registered and background checked.
* For safety and supervision reasons, troops and individuals are not permitted to bring non-Girl Scouts or siblings.
* Girl/adult ratios must be followed unless otherwise indicated in the program description. Adults are expected to stay on the premises.
