Flowers are so beautiful, we bring them from the outside into our homes to add cheer to a room. But there’s more to flowers than just good looks. Without them, plants could not make seeds, and scientists think the world would be much drier (and a lot less pretty). Dig up more flower secrets during this workshop with the experts at Trad’s Garden Center. Juniors will have a chance to talk with an actual botanist, dye a flower, learn how flowers are calming, create dried flower art, and make a bouquet!

Girls are welcome to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at the Garden Center after the program.

* Flowers badge  included at the conclusion of the program for every registered Girl Scout girl.
* This event is for 2019 registered Girl Scouts, and registered & approved adult volunteers. If an adult is responsible for a Girl Scout other than their own, the adult must be registered and background checked.
* For safety and supervision reasons, troops and individuals are not permitted to bring non-Girl Scouts or siblings.
