Our volunteers are AMAZING! The love and dedication they show to Girl Scouts are unparalleled. Every year we present awards to volunteers at our Adult Recognition ceremony.
Nominate your favorite outstanding volunteer for one of the following awards by May 1, 2023.
Gateway Council Award: To recognize volunteers with at least 5 years of service who have made a great impact in the delivery of the Gateway Council mission and programs and continues to provide outstanding service beyond the expectations of the position to at least two delivery audiences, geographic areas, or communities.
Man Enough to be a Girl Scout Award: The Man Enough to be a Girl Scout Award about recognizing men who are involved in Girl Scouts. When the men in a Girl Scout’s life step up to be Man Enough to be a Girl Scout, they are standing with all girls in our community as they strive to become women courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. This award spotlights community leaders who are dedicated to uplifting young women in all areas that make Girl Scouts great— STEM, life skills, outdoors, and entrepreneurship.
Thanks Badge II: This recognition is appropriate when performance surpasses earlier achievement recognized with Thanks Badge I. It is a way of saying thanks again to an individual who contributes greatly to Girl Scouts. Service benefits the total council. Candidate must have previously received Thanks Badge I.
