Can a Girl Scout Be An Entrepreneur? Learn How to Start A Business!
In this program hosted by the Florida Small Business Development Center at UNF, girls will learn about the following ideas & questions and how to apply them to starting a business:
- Why own your own business?
- How hard is it to start a business?
- How much money can you make?
- How much time does it take?
- Think you have a good idea or talent lets see if it can be turned into a business

Each registered Girl Scout earns a badge at the conclusion of the program. Cadettes will earn Business Creator, Seniors will earn Entrepreneur Accelerator and Ambassadors will earn Business Startup.
This program is for 2023-24 registered Girl Scout girls and 2023-24 registered and background-checked adults.
For safety and supervision reasons, troops and individuals are not permitted to bring non-Girl Scouts or siblings.
Girl/adult ratios must be followed unless otherwise indicated in the program description. Adults are expected to stay on the premises.
Cancellation and Refunds:
All cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing (email) before September 13, 2023. You will receive confirmation via email if the request has been approved. If the program is cancelled due to weather, low registration numbers or other unforeseen circumstance, you will be notified via email to the email listed at the time of registration. Plans to reschedule, postpone, or cancel the program will be included in this email. All registrants will be given the option to reschedule (if option is available) or receive a refund at the time of cancellation. Refunds may only be credited to the credit card account used at the time of purchase.
